My name is Walda, I'm an art historian and private tourguide with more than 25 years of experience. I'm Toursbylocals no. 1 tourguide in the Netherlands with more than 350 five star reviews. In this tour I'm offering you a one hour live power point presentation from my home about the Stolen Panel of the Ghent Altarpiece. This robbery happened in 1934 from the St. Bavo Cathedral in the heart of Ghent city center in Belgium. It's one of the most important unsolved art thefts in the world. Many amateur detectives tried to find the panel, without any luck.
This is a one hour virtual lecture with power point presentation from my home about the Stolen panel of the Ghent Altarpiece, painted by the famous painters Jan and Hubert van Eyck. Other subjects or longer courses on request. All you need is a good internet connection and ZOOM installed. Please note that tour start times are in Amsterdam time zone CEST (UTC +2).
