If you are looking for a tour to see Mt. Fuji and experiences of Japanese culture from Shimizu port.This is the perfect tour for you. The tour takes you to Fujinomiya city, the closest city to Mt.Fuji, visiting the waterfalls(national treasure), a historical shrine and lunch at a local cozy Japanese restaurant. If the time permits, we may be able to visit one of the biggest tea fields in Fuji area for a breathtaking view of Mt.Fuji with the green tea field. * The view of Mt.Fuji is not promised due to the weather conditions. The original itinerary may be changed due to the situations such as heavy traffic, bad weather and unexpected events. *this is 6 hours tour for two people by a taxi for 3 passengers use. If you would like to have a tour with a jumbo taxi ( upto 8 passengers), please consult the guide for creating a customized tour. As for the tour upto 4 people, please refer to the tour #1434479.
The tour starts at Shimizu port, driving approximately 55 minutes to Fujinomiya city. The first stop is Shiraito waterfalls where you can walk closer to the waterfalls or if you have difficulties in walking , there is an observatory deck to see the waterfalls. Then the next stop is Fujinomiya Sengen shine (40-45 minutes visit, the shrine is designated as the national cultural assets , found in 805. There is a magical pond called WAKUTAMAIKE ( national treasure with 200,000 tons of spring water from Mt.Fuji gushes everyday.)Please enjoy lunch at a local cozy Japanese noodle restaurant. The owner makes fresh noodle every morning ,loved by locals for a traditional Japanese atmosphere and their friendly services. If the time permits, we maybe able to visit the tea field before heading back to Shimizu port.
