This route is part of the famous Wild Atlantic Way and recently voted as one of the top 4 places to visit in the world for 2019! Depart Killarney and travel westwards through varied landscape towards the western tip of the peninsula where we will have spectacular views of the Skellig Islands. Visit Cahergall fairy fort and stop for photos at McCarthy's 15th-century castle before taking the car ferry to Valentia. Stop at Portmagee for lunch. Continuing on via the Sceilg Ring towards Killarney via the colourful village of Sneem & and the Killarney National Park, we will get wonderful views of the 'famous lakes of Killarney'. There will be lots of photo stops along the way and I will show you special places off the beaten track. This tour will be scheduled to suit your tempo and interests.
Depart Killarney for Killorglin and on towards the Kerry bog village (optional stop) for coffee and visit. Contine towards Cahirciveen and Valentia Island at the western tip of the peninsula. Visit Valentia and the Skellig Ring. After lunch in Portmagee or Waterville, we will head towards Sneem and the Killarney National Park. .
