Purple lips tour, Maipo Valley

If you love full bodied reds, and enjoy a good Cab Sauv and want to learn more about Carmenere, please join me in this trip through our countryside, right outside Santiago, to explore the perfect mix between Tradition and Quality. Maipo valley is worldwide famous for the quality of its red wines, most of them Bordeaux varieties that found in the piedmont of the Andes the perfect terroir to show their best expression. Cab Sauvs, Merlot, Petit verdot, Cab Francs and Carmenere are the absolute stars here, but don't be surprised if we find a good Chardonay or Pinot from the area, our winemakers loves to push things to the limits, with amazing results. We will visit 3 vineyards, trying to go from really traditional to really modern, plus lunch in another Bodega.
