At the foot of the Majestic Mont Blanc, you will come and discover this famous mountaineering place, Chamonix, its magnificent landscapes, its unique atmosphere mixing genres: from the mountain-climbing expert to the wanderer and nature lover, you will cross different people. As I am also a biographer I can tell you anecdotes and little stories about people who used to live in Savoie Mont Blanc region and those who are living there nowadays. I will tell you about a friend of mine who is now 63 and who was dreaming about the Malabar Princess which had crashed in the Mont Blanc Massif when he was a child. He then became a mountain guide to be able to explore the mountains and discover what the glaciers had swallowed up. . .
- We will visit together the center of this charming city of Chamonix, during our walking-tour I will tell you the history of mountaineering and skiing in Chamonix. - Then, thanks to the famous Aiguille du Midi cable car, we will have a round trip to the summit of the «Aiguille du Midi», at 3800 meters high - We will also visit either the Crystal Museum or the Alpine museum, according to your wishes and opening times. This tour can be tailored to your wishes and in line with realistic expectations, please contact me with your questions.

This is a walking tour / Transportation in the valley can be arranged at your request, please contact me for a quote. If needed, transportation will be with my private vehicle, a comfortable Volkswagen Multivan, TDI 4 motion. Of course, if you are staying a bit away from the center, I will come and pick you at your hotel free of charge.
