Immerse yourself in the magnificent buildings constructed during the Guanajuato silver mining bonanza mainly in the eighteenth centuries. In this tour you will discover antique houses, small alleys and quaint squares, in which you will get a taste of the authentic Mexico. Guanajuato is famous with the mexicans, because the site of Alhondiga de Granaditas, a former town granary that became a revolutionary symbol after the insurrectionists Hidalgo, Allende, Aldama and Jimenez started the War of the Independence against Spain. Also a number of important festivals and celebrations occur throughout Guanajuato, including local religious and historical fiestas that celebrate popular folklore and practices. One eexample of this is the Cervantes Festival, the Film Festival, and local traditions as Día de la Cueva, Fiestas de San Juan, Viernes de Dolores, Día de Muertos and much more. Let me share with you the food, the history, the neighbourhoods and all the the hidden gems of the city where I live!

During the tour, I will find you more about your particular interest, for example: history, art, photography, according with this I will customize the tour in order to show you more things according with your preferences. Normally we don't enter to any museums, suddenly I enter to a private house, not popular museum, special store or coffee. I recommend the best museums for later in your free time. The tour last about 2. 5 to 3 hours. The starting time is flexible.
