Overview of your Ho Chi Minh City tour:

Under the French colony, Sai Gon was called the Oriental Paris or the Pearl of the Far East because of many magnificent buildings and public works erected by the French in the heart of the city. Saigon was the capital of the Republic of Vietnam between 1954 and 1975. In 1976, Vietnam became a Unified country and Sai Gon was renamed Ho Chi Minh City. The Vietnamese government launched "the Open Door" policy in 1986 and the US administration normalized the relationship with Vietnam in 1995. Since then, there have been a lot of remarkable changes in Saigon. Saigon city nowadays includes the city center, china town, and new urban areas. You will learn a lot about the history, customs, dwellers' lives and development of Saigon via the places listed on Saigon city tour. *Note: If you are arriving at Tan Cang-Hiep Phuoc Terminal (TCHP) port or Saigon Premier Container Terminal (SPCT) port, please click "MESSAGE KHOA Đ". I will assist you with any information regarding quotes, transfers or any inquiries.

Your Ho Chi Minh City tour itinerary

- I will meet you at your hotel lobby in Saigon. *Notes : For travelers on the ships docking at Saigon port - Nha Rong terminal (2km from Saigon city center). I will meet you at the port gate with a sign bearing your name. The port gate is 5 to 15 minute walk from the ship, or, alternatively, you can use the shuttle bus to get to the port gate. Then we will do this tour by seeing many places as follows; - The Jade Emperor pagoda - History museum or the war museum. - The underground Vietcong weapon storage under a house. - The Unification Palace. - The roof of an apartment building off where the last chopper picked up evacuees one day before the fall of Saigon - The local markets (wet market and dockside fruit market) - Stop for Coffee and light refreshments near the new urban area of Saigon. - If you wish to have lunch, I can recommend to you a local restaurant where you can dine on delicious Vietnamese food at a very reasonable price. I can customize the tour to fit your preferences.
