Ever since I was a child, I used to do this tour with my family during winter and summer time. Enjoy sitting in A/C van watching the roatds, highways and different areas. Let me show you the wonders of Egypt, from an Egyptologist view point doing excavations with the Supreme Council of Antiquities. Explore the difference in culture between Cairo and Alexandria, even the sites and artifacts. We visit Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, the valley temple, Saqqara, the new excavations, Memphis, the ancient Capital and talk about what we are excavating for now. Another day we do museums, citadel, the alabaster mosque beside the ancient churches. Then it is time to do an overday to Alexandria and visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, the amphitheatre, the new library, site of the ancient lighthouse which is Quitbey citadel now. It is a highly recommended tour for those who are interested to do as much as possible in a short time.
Day 1: Pick you up from the hotel to visit Giza area, all pyramids there, then proceed to the panorama to visit the Sphinx and the valley temple. We stop for lunch (optional) at a pyramid view restaurant, before we visit Saqqara, the Step Pyramid, the noble tombs, and the new excavations. Memphis (the ancient capital) will be next with the museum of Ramsess II. Day 2: Pick you up from the hotel, visit the Egyptian museum with the treasures of King Tut. Then the citadel and the alabaster mosque, before we visit Coptic Cairo. Day 3: A trip to Alexandria, on the Mediterranean, to visit the catacombs (1800 years old), Pompey's Pillar, the Roman theatre (1900 years old), with the underwater pieces from Cleopatra city, and the new library of Alexandria.
