Split to National Park Krka, Waterfalls & Wine private tour
Kazo was a fantastic guide, we loved every minute of our Eco ride! The scooters were fun, and a great way to see Split from a couple of perspectives. I highly recommend this tour - it's an exciting way to see and learn about this beautiful city, and Kazo is a terrific guide.

My husband and I enjoyed the most wonderful tour with Robert! Robert is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, this made for such an amazing experience. Robert took us to the beautiful Kastel Sikuli vineyard, where the hosts were incredibly gracious and lovely. We enjoyed a private tour of of the vineyard, a private chef prepared three course meal and wine pairing, exquisitely prepared and delicious. Robert is a true professional and it was a pleasure to spend this time together! Thank you!

For gourmands!-sublime wine tasting and 3 course chef-prepared cuisine overlooking the sea at a hilltop boutique winery
Our group of 6 people from California have had a tour to Hvar with Matej. His tour was so much different from the others we have read about, he took us to the very unexpected and rarely visited places in Hvar with the gorgeous views and beautiful scenery. He is a very knowledgeable and professional guide.

More ways to experience Brac

Step into Brac, an Adriatic jewel where time seems to slow. It's a place less touched by the frenzy of modern life, calling to be lived rather than rushed through. As you navigate the sweeping seaside views or stroll through ancient stone streets, the things to do in Brac unfold in layers. Olive groves wait for unhurried exploration, golden beaches lure sun-seekers, and seaside taverns echo with laughter and clinking glasses. Brac is a page taken straight from the heart of Croatia, waiting for explorers willing to dive into its rhythm.

Explore Brac off the beaten path

Trade the usual beach day for alternative things to do, following slower paths and small places where island life hums—easy moments you’ll remember long after the ferry.

Cultural experiences: Drop into the Klesarska škola in Pučišća on a weekday to see apprentices shaping Brač stone, then wander the waterfront in Postira late afternoon as boats unload the day’s catch. As dusk falls, linger by the balote court in Sutivan and cheer a game with a glass of prošek from the nearby konoba.

Small museums and galleries: In Škrip, the Island of Brač Museum packs Roman stones and island stories into a quiet fortified house; the curator’s anecdotes make it stick. Step next door to the Olive Oil Museum for a short walk-through and a late-morning tasting of fresh uje. In Bol, pop into Galerija Branislav Dešković around midday to browse Croatian sculpture in calm, cool rooms.

Less crowded scenic viewpoints: Take the late-afternoon path above Murvica toward Zmajeva špilja, pausing over the vineyards for quiet views of Zlatni Rat and Hvar. For sunset, drive to Gažul on the Vidova Gora plateau or pull off on the road above Ložišća to look down on Bobovišća bay without the crowds.

Shop for local products & souvenirs: Swing by Jaksic Gallery in Donji Humac for small Brač-stone pieces or simple silver-and-stone jewelry you can pack easily. In Bol, the STINA Winery shop on the riva opens in the early evening—taste, then grab a bottle with the writable label. Back in Škrip, the Olive Oil Museum shop stocks peppery extra-virgin oil and smokvenjak fig cakes, ideal to carry home.

Popular neighbourhoods

The true spirit of Brac is crafted in its neighbourhoods, each playing a distinctive role in shaping the island's allure. Embarking on an exploration of these locales will unravel the unique narrative of the beautiful Brac.

Relax in Bol, a picturesque village on the island's south coast. Its beautiful pebble beaches, and stunning promenade lined with stone houses and palm trees, offer a charming prospect for every traveller.

Immerse yourself in Zlatni Rat, home to one of Croatia's most iconic beaches. This golden cape, constantly changing its shape due to the waves and sea currents, is a spectacle and natural phenomenon that is sure to captivate you.

Voyage to Supetar, a delightfully small settlement rich in Dalmatian architecture. Harbour-side cafes, rustic stone churches, and the sounds of Croatian folk music drifting through the air characterize this warm and welcoming locality.

Discover Pučišća, a traditional settlement famous for its white stone architecture. This town offers wonderful forays, guided by the simplistic beauty of terracotta rooftops juxtaposed against the serene blue of the Adriatic Sea.

Experience Milna, where local fishing boats bob rhythmically in the harbour, a sight that beautifully captures the leisurely pace of life here. With its inviting sea-front promenades and lush beaches, Milna provides a wholesome seaside experience.

Things to do in Brac by season

Spring: Hike Vidova Gora under wildflower-covered slopes, then drift through olive groves where new leaves shimmer in the breeze. Holy Week processions animate village squares, and seniors enjoy quiet paths and easy coastal walks.

Summer: Families spread out on Zlatni Rat as winds shape the famed spit, while windsurfers skim the Bol channel and evening klapa singing fills stone lanes. Slip into coves by boat in the late afternoon, then linger over grilled fish under the vines.

Fall: The island slows for grape and olive harvests, with still-warm seas and mellow sunsets that suit couples. Trattorias lean into autumn flavours, and rural roads feel open for leisurely drives.

Winter: Christmas in Brač stays small and local, with nativity scenes in parish squares and quiet waterfronts in Supetar and Bol. Walk sunny mornings in shirt sleeves, then duck into a konoba when the bora whistles.

Summer brings the Brač Film Festival to Supetar and the Vanka Regule adventure and film gatherings to Sutivan, both recurring fixtures. Bol and Supetar host long-running cultural programmes through July and August, with concerts, theatre, and folk nights in breezy courtyards.
