Let me take you on a classical yet essential itinerary for the introduction to Provencal spirit and "art of living". While Marseille stands as the capital of the Provence region, its true essence pulsates in Aix. Stroll with me in the steps of Paul Cézanne through its historical mediaeval district, the vibrant farmers market, boutiques with local specialties, private aristocratic mansions and thrilling Saint-Sauveur cathedral. The quaint fishing village of Cassis unfolds as a breathtaking panorama, especially from the vantage point of Cap Canaille in the Calanques National Park. You can choose to have lunch in the harbour or a picnic on a boat excursion, wine tasting is also an option. We will then drive through the historical districts of Marseille, undergoing a splendid revival in recent years. I'll guide you through the city's highlights, its old port, culminating in an unforgettable view from Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde Basilica or "Our Good Mother" as the locals call it.
I will pick you up at the location of your choice with a comfortable premium class car or minivan. We can start from Aix-en-Provence, Marseille or Toulon, but also in Cannes.
