Let's explore the most famous sites in Egypt, both ancient Egyptian and Greaco Roman history, in 2 days we compare the mixed cultures in Egypt, different eras, cities and people. The only wonder left, beside the lighthouse under water in Alexandria, so there is a lot to do, and what the new research discovered about both civilizations in Egypt
DAY 1 -Meeting you outside the harbor - Depart Alexandria to Cairo. - Visit of the Pyramids, the Great , the second and the 3rd, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple. - Egyptian Museum & the treasures of king Tut Ankh Imn. - The papyrus school in Giza area. - Return to Alexandria. DAY 2 - We start our tour to visit the catacombs which are Greco-Roman tombs from the first century AD and explain the difference in life between the ancient Egyptian period and the Greco-Roman period. - Then we visit the Roman theatre, the only one in Egypt, and we talk there about the history of the place and the new excavations. - Next stop is the new library of Alexandria, and we explain how the old one was. The outer view of the fortress of Quitbay which is in the same place as the old lighthouse. Any particular preferences you may have, please let me know.
